General Cooking Directions:
Pour 3 cups milk into a 2-qt. saucepan. Put on medium heat and stir while adding entire contents of soup package. Simmer for 8 - 10 munutes, stirring. Do not allow to boil. soup will achieve a smooth creamy texture in approx. 10 minutes. Makes 4 1-cup servings.
Suggestions: Be creative! - add products to the soup for texture and taste. A few examples:
Asparagus: Add 1/2 small can of asparagus tips. Garnish with dill sour cream.
Crab: Add 1/4 lb crab meat.
Broccoli: Add 1/2 cup frozen chopped broccoli.
Tomato: Garnish with a dollop of sour cream and chives.
